Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion Exhibition
From July 20 until January 5, come to the Brooklyn Museum to experience an eye-opening exhibit following the work and influence of Pierre Cardin. Known for his futuristic looks that made waves in the fashion industry between the 1960s and 1980s, as well as his later work in furniture and industrial design, Cardin always had an eye for the bold and innovative. The exhibit will draw from the designer's archive, highlighting his legendary decades long-career in the fashion industry and beyond. Expect to see fashion sketches, personal photographs, rare fabric designs dating back to the 50s, and so much more. To top it all off, all items showcased in the exhibit will be displayed in an environment said to mimic the unique atelier designs, showrooms, and homes of Cardin himself. The exhibit opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. on all days except for Thursdays, on which it closes at 10 p.m. Click here to purchase a ticket.
