Looking for vintage Rick Owens? Dying to get your hands on some ‘90s Margiela? Autentica 504 is coming to Manhattan with a one-day fashion pop-up event you won’t want to miss.
The Rome-based fashion archive is landing in Soho on Saturday, June 4, and it’s bringing a lineup of pieces fit for luxury collectors and fashionistas alike. Guests can peruse and shop from a wide selection of vintage pieces from Balenciaga, Maison Margiela, Ann Demeulemeester, Rick Owens and other in-demand designer brands.

“Autentica was born in Rome with the passion of archive pieces that aim at providing a precise, minimal and noir look,” says brand founder Donata Ceccarelli. “The leading brands include Margiela, Rick Owens, Yamamoto, Uma Wang, The Row and many others. As the passion for this branch of fashion grew, the founders then launched Autentica (originals) which is entirely thought and manually produced in the best fashion laboratories in Italy.”
In addition to the designer archival pieces, the pop-up will feature the brand's own capsule collection, all designed by an anonymous U.S.-based designer. According to Ceccarelli, the signature collection will showcase three full ready-to-wear looks including jackets, shirts and tops as well as three different bag designs and other accessories.
The main colors for this chic, limited edition collection are black, lavender and ivory; perfect colors for year-round wear.
“The capsule collection was thought and drawn with NYC in mind by a local and anonymous designer,” Ceccarelli says. “Every single piece was carefully drawn with what the ideal New York Autentica customer would look like in mind. From the colors to the patterns and materials, the designer freely explored and re-invented the nature of Autentica 504.”
The pop-up was spearheaded by two young curators and the entire event—including a launch dinner—was thought up, planned and executed in only a month. No easy feat.
The space itself was designed to adhere to the brand's ideology and overall aesthetic. The location is ideal, situated at the center of one of the city's fashion hubs, making this pop-up a must see for those who plan to buy and those who come to admire all the same.
Stop by the pop-up at 182 Lafayette Street, and indulge in all things fashion and design. Follow Autentica on Instagram and via the official website to learn more and stay up-to-date on available archives and original looks.
