Holiday shopping starting early? Looking to discover new brands? Hoping to give the most unique gifts this season, (and maybe even do a bit of shopping for yourself)? Look no further than the buggy and sahroo pop-up, right in the heart of Noho. The female-founded and owned NYC based fashion brands are having their first ever holiday Popup this week at 45 Bond Street. You'll find your perfect new years eve or vacation outfit and definitely a gift or two in the darling space.

"We really have all the bases covered! The girl that celebrates in buggy during the day or on her beach vacation will slip into sahroo for her evening events and then back into a buggy nighty at the end of the night! It's a great opportunity to discover both brands (with a 20% off gift to our clients). Come to try on, feel the fabrics and experience a beautiful sahroo and buggy experience." Buggy told us. “We are both very focused on the details which make each piece so special. Every piece from both of our collections is handcrafted."

For buggy, each piece is hand block printed, embroidered, or dyed with the tassels, pompoms and finishing details on sleeves all hand crocheted. Sarah’s are hand dyed and hand embellished as well. Both young designers spoke about how rewarding it is to see how customers appreciate this and the story behind each piece.

"Both of our collections are inspired by our heritage, Greece for me and Pakistan for Sarah. We originally bonded over my love for Sarah’s home country of Pakistan which I visited a few summers ago for a mutual friend’s wedding. I was so inspired by the embroidery in all the wedding outfits which definitely trickled into my collection and of course Sarah’s." Buggy said.

"We both are incredibly passionate about creating brands that are design forward with a strong social and environmental value system. We decided to partner together because we feel that we share the same wonderful client. Our customers care about wearing chic, feminine garments but also are invested in the story behind the brands they support. We both focus on sustainable packaging - with Buggy's hand-printed tote bags and sahroo's recycled paper boxes and a commitment to planting five trees for each order placed. It's been incredible fun planning the pop up together - we brought in tons of plants and trees, so our clients feels like they're nestled in a jungle. " Sarah told us.

Based in NYC, buggy encompasses ready to wear, accessories and ultra-feminine nightwear. What initially began as a 13-year-old’s pursuit to embellish clothing with pompoms and ribbons has continuously grown over the years. Inspired by her years living abroad for university, travel and her Greek heritage, now 14 years later Buggy launched in August 2018 a full collection of richly embroidered dresses and kaftans, beautiful hand block-prints and crochet details. Buggy’s collections continue to expand monthly with striking new pieces perfectly at home on busy city streets to the cobbles of Mykonos town.

sahroo is a luxury women's wear line that focuses on handcrafted matching sets that are both feminine and whimsical. sahroo was founded in New York City in 2018 by Sarah Abbasi, who was inspired by the ease and elegance of the matching sets often worn in her native Pakistan. Sahroo playfully reinterprets that way of dressing using sumptuous fabrics, artisanal techniques, and a dreamy, romantic color palette. Our twice-annual collections are exquisitely created by local artisans who are masters of their crafts. These collaborators include hand-dyers, hand-embellishers and expert tailors who oversee the cutting and sewing of each individual piece.

Sahroo is as much about beautiful clothing as it is about contributing to a more beautiful planet. We use only recycled materials for our packaging and as part of our ongoing partnership with One Tree Planted, we are dedicated to planting five trees for every order placed.

Visit the buggy and sahroo pop up through Friday 15th, by appointment afterward
