Truffles and generosity were in season Sunday as Chef Daniel Boulud, Co-President of the Citymeals Board of Directors, hosted his annual Sunday Supper to benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels. The event, “Burgundy, Black Truffles and Blue Jeans,” exceeded all expectations raising $828,000 to provide meals to homebound elderly New Yorkers. One hundred and sixty philanthropic New Yorkers - many donning their finest pair of blue jeans - poured into three Michelin-starred restaurant DANIEL. Chef Boulud was joined in the kitchen by Chef Régis Marcon and his sons Chef Jacques Marcon and Chef Paul Marcon.
