This is one pop-up you won’t want to miss. Nestled in the heart of Soho, BYRON has popped up for a limited time only. BYRON sells exotic bags direct to consumer, taking out the middleman. These are timeless pieces you’ll be drooling over. Think fuchsia crocodile and elegant navy ostrich.
A native New Yorker, founder Ronald Holtzman grew up in Queens. His first job out of college was as a salesman selling women's clothes to department and specialty stores. Ron developed an eye for elegance and a taste for glamour. At 30, a few years after working for different companies, Ron decided to start his own business selling womenswear. After successfully running the business for almost 10 years, he sold it and retired. He thought his time in luxury was over, but life had other plans.
After several years of retirement, Ron's wife gently told him he needed to get out of the house! Ron dreamt up the idea to start an exotic handbags business from a friend and 12 years later his business continues to flourish, most recently with the new pop-up in Soho which will remain open through the end of May.
A passionate businessman, Ron designs and merchandises the bags on his own and travels the world to responsibly source python, crocodile and ostrich skins. He's passionate about staying on top of the latest trends and handbag designs, as well as, philanthropically participating in charity events. Ron’s approachable style and friendly demeanor are key factors in his success.
When he's not in Soho, Ron sells his handbags by appointment out of a showroom in Great Neck, NY. Similar to Warby Parker and Away, Ron takes the middleman out to sell BYRON exotic handbags at a fraction of the retail price. You won’t want to miss BYRON’s elegant designs.
