Food & Drink,
The only thing hotter than Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker is Kourtney Kardashian’s body at age 42.
We’re dying to know her secret. Besides not knowing what’s going on and just appreciating her bread. Real talk, does any Kardashian actually eat carbs?
Anyways, what better way to celebrate National Avocado Day than with Kourt’s famous three ingredient smoothie?
Follow this recipe and you may get rock-hard abs with a side of attitude, too.
The best part about the three ingredient smoothie is that, well, it’s only three ingredients. Super easy to make, and very cost-effective, this effortless meal supplement takes less than one minute to prep.
Kourt’s breakfast pudding calls for one organic avocado, pitted and peeled.
Poosh, Ms. Kardashian’s lifestyle and wellness website notes, “The fat-filled ingredient offers nearly 20 vitamins and minerals. Since avocados are high in fat, it’s best to eat the fruit in the morning so your body can burn the calories throughout the day.”
The recipe also calls for one cup of any organic, vegan milk substitute. The original recipe is made with coconut milk, but we’ve tried this smoothie with almond milk, and it’s just as delicious. According to Kourt, soy and oat milk are also good alternatives.
Lastly, add two teaspoons of Manuka honey for some sweetness. While the original recipe suggests organic honey, Poosh divulges that, “Kourt recently updated her recipe by swapping honey for dates. This tweak still adds a bit of sweetness and provides an additional source of fiber."
Mix these three ingredients into a blender until smooth, or whatever your desired consistency is.
Pour the smoothie-pudding hybrid into a mason jar, and enjoy with a spoon! Of course her child shares a name with a trendy container you find in an LA coffee shop.
Hopefully Kourt’s breakfast go-to won’t make you as hangry as her. Just kidding, we love you Kween Kourt.
