With Tom Colicchio’s 4th of July BBQ party, Independence Day is no longer the most overrated holiday of the season. Craft New York, world-renowned chef Tom Colicchio’s flagship restaurant located in the heart of Flatiron, is bringing New York’s juiciest BBQ to your home.

But it’s not just the current face of this fine dining establishment that’s loading on the meat sweats. Former Craft chefs, Lauren Hirschberg of Turtle + The Wolf and Damon Wise of Wise Meats are gracing us with their famous juicy brisket, a staple from their new restaurant beer garden hybrid: Pineapple Express Barbeque.
The 4lb Texas-style prime angus beef brisket is marinated in salt, pepper, and chile rub, and then smoked for 20 hours over cherry and oak woods. But what’s a classic BBQ meal without a vast assortment of side dishes? Hirschberg and Wise’s brisket will be accompanied by Colicchio’s famous pork baked beans, braised farmer market greens (sourced directly from the Union Square Greenmarket), and watermelon salad. Did somebody say mouth watering? And for $275, you can feed a party of eight with some of the most sought-after BBQ in the city.
So let’s break down these 4th of July BBQ boxes a bit. Each box will serve approximately eight people (come hungry!), and will be delivered straight to your doorstep. The box will come with simple cooking instructions to ensure your meal is top notch. Recipients will be guided to reheat the brisket, greens, and beans, as well as assemble the watermelon salad just how Colicchio would. The Craft chefs couldn’t make this any easier for us; these boxes are essentially fool-proof for those who aren’t so keen in the kitchen. But without sacrificing the taste and quality of your favorite American meal. What could be better?!
It wouldn’t be a holiday without a cocktail. Correction, a lot of cocktails. For all you vodka lovers, complete your backyard holiday BBQ party with the Craft Backyard Punch cocktail kit. The kit comes with vodka, basil, lemon, and cucumber- the perfect refreshing combo for a hot July night. The base cocktail kit serves up to four people ($56), but if you want to celebrate the holiday the right way, it wouldn’t hurt to get the one that serves eight ($112).
You can pre-order your fourth of July box through Wednesday, June 23rd, or while supplies last. Get your wallet ready, because you don’t want to miss this. To ensure maximum freshness, all orders will be overnight shipped on Thursday, July 1’st with absolute guarantee that they arrive for the special weekend.
