Chip NYC has been known for serving some of the most delicious, gooey cookies in all of New York staring in 2017, originally opening in Astoria, but expanding to Ditmars, Long Island City and the West Village since then.
The beloved bakery has announced the opening of their newest location on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Williamsburg at 123 Kent Avenue, between North 6th and North 7th Streets.
Beginning at 1 pm, the first 100 customers to stop by the grand opening will get a free cookie with purchase. Two of the four flavors chosen for the opening will be their “Frightfetti” and “Monster Chip” cookies, in addition to debuting a brand-new Vegan Chocolate Chip flavor that fans have been asking for since 2017 (if you have a certain dietary restriction or avoid animal-based foods, get excited!). There will also be La Colombe coffee and espresso drinks to accompany your Halloween pre-dinner snack.
The normal bakery hours will begin on Nov. 1, open seven days a week from 9am to 10pm.
Serving over thirty unconventional flavors, such as Everything Bagel and Peanut Butter & Jelly, Chip offers four different cookies each day in-shop. Sell-out fan favorites include the classic Chocolate Chip, Cookies N’ Cream and Butterscotch Toffee, and they regularly create specialty holiday flavors. For the hardcore Chip fans, the bakery has an online shop of wearable merchandise available for purchase and even sells packs of cookie dough that you can make at home.
