Celebration of City of Hope Spirit of Life Honoree Sylvia Rhone

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, over 100 power women across music, fashion, media and entertainment came together to honor City of Hope’s Spirit of Life honoree Sylvia Rhone, chairwoman and CEO of Epic Records at The Grill. During the event, Sylvia expressed the importance of making a difference and paving the way for future women in business as this is the first time the Music and Entertainment Industry Group has honored an African American woman in its 46-year history. Leading women mixed and mingled while sipping on champagne to support Sylvia, including Epic Artist Zara Larsson, Universal's Michele Anthony, Paradigm CMO Lori Feldman, Amy Sacco, Alison Brod, Sophia Chang, Essence's MoAna Luu, Pepsi's Emma Quigley and H&M's Ezinne Kwubiri. The event helped fundraise for the upcoming gala on the Santa Monica Barker Hangar on October 10, with special performances from Alicia Keys and Sara Bareilles.
