Style & Beauty,
The year is 2006. You’re walking down the street holding your neon green mini Coach wristlet and matching sugar-lip tank. You and your BFF’s walk into Starbucks for the Pink Unicorn Drink- all the cool kids know it’s on the secret menu. You reach for your bedazzled pink Motorola Razr and text your crush a lot of acronyms nobody understands.
Fast forward to 2021. Coach is back and hotter than ever. They should get an award for the hottest glow-up of the decade.
July 15th through August 8th, Coach is celebrating the launch of Coach (Re)Loved with pop-up events at Coach House (685 Fifth Avenue) and South Coast Plaza.
Inspired by the motto of “Wear It, Love It, Pass It On,” Coach (Re)Loved Exchange program is part of the brand’s commitment to reduce waste and do better for the planet by making fashion more circular.
Plus, things are usually better the second time around.
Customers trade in their pre-loved Coach bags for a credit at Coach Stores in North America. In exchange, Coach gives these bags the second life they deserve by recycling or reimagining them. The bags will then be a part of the Restored, Remade, Upcrafted, and Vintage pillars of the Coach (Re)Loved collections available and in store.
What you love today can be tomorrow’s vintage.
Coach House is hosting a variety of artists and experts such as Amber Vittoria, Megan Mussari, and Roselly Monegro. These subject-experts are on-site at various times throughout the week creating custom embroidery and hand painting. Additionally, Debi the Restorer is offering complimentary leathercare and light repairs.
Everyone loves a good comeback, right?
On Saturday July 17, guests are invited to check out recycled furniture pieces by designers Kim Markel and Shore Rugs. Big Crown Records will be joining for some retro tunes. It’s all about the vibes.
Embrace your inner 2000’s kid, and join Coach in their sustainability efforts. Do good, and look good while doing it.
