Fourth of July is right around the corner, and with the patriotic holiday coming up, there are numerous different events dotted around the city to celebrate and eat and drink your way through the weekend.

Here’s a list of some events to go and get your red, white and blue on this season. From beach parties to rooftop celebrations, there’s something for everyone.
231 Hudson St. / Website
Set on the rooftop of the trendy Arlo Hotel with spanning views of the skyline and Hudson River, this cookout event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday. There will be burgers and bites by Chef Carsten Johannsen and cocktails ranging from classic frozen margaritas to new specialty drinks like the Pineapple Punch with Santa Teresa, 1796 Solera Rum, Plantation Pineapple Rum, pineapple, pomegranate, ancho chili and lime. Take in all these in more at this free event from 4 pm to midnight and close off the night with a great view of the New Jersey fireworks.

This iconic space suspended 1,100 feet up in the air offers unmatched views of the fireworks around the city. One ticket gets admissions to the indoor and outdoor lounge, two glasses of champagne, a corndog and unlimited popcorn all with a live DJ playing music throughout the night. Located in Brooklyn Bridge Park, this chic restaurant will play host to a celebratory barbeque. The event will have special food items like barbecue ribs and chicken and elote street corn as well as the restaurant's normal menu which features Calabrian shrimp and their signature Estuary burger. The location offers views of the Macy’s fireworks and the New Jersey fireworks, so snag your tickets here before it’s too late.

This weekend-long event will have everything from DJ sets, pop-up bars, food trucks and tribute bands and opportunities to stick your toes in the sand and take in the summer air. Set right on the water, this spot will have the perfect view of the fireworks at night.
112 W 25th St. / Website
Barbecues are the classic way to celebrate the Fourth, and that quintessential experience is taken to the next level at this rooftop party. Located on the 38th and 39th floors of the Renaissance Hotel, this lounge and pool area will feature burgers, jerk chicken and hot dogs as well as specialty cocktails with 360-degree views of the city all with music by Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire.
