Dry January Have You Feeling Glum? Head to the Fat Radish

By Christina Najjar | January 24, 2019 | Food & Drink

If you’re participating in "Dry January" you probably deserve a medal at this point. Long winter nights, nonstop snow and not a helpful cocktail in sight! But don’t worry, the end of the month is in sight and lots of delicious wine and cocktails are waiting for you on the other side.

Until then, might we suggest you head to New York City favorite, The Fat Radish. The health-conscious restaurant that is loved by wellness buffs and the fashion set alike cleverly devised a special alcohol-free beverage program just for January, so you can still indulge and enjoy without the guilt, (or hangover!). The Fat Radish, located in the ever trendy Lower East Side, debuted a vibrant no-abv cocktail menu for the month in partnership with Seedlip. Creatively utilizing ingredients such as pear vinegar, aquafaba and turmeric tea, each drink features a base of Seedlip non-alcoholic distilled spirit and is in keeping with the restaurant’s menu of delicious, health-rich dishes inspired by the season.

These cocktails are so creative and delicious you’ll hardly miss the alcohol! Think delicious concoctions like the Marquee Moon, which features Seedlip Spice, Red rooibos honey cordial, D’Anjou pear vinegar and CBD oil!

Following this stand-alone menu, the cocktail menu at The Fat Radish will feature four different Seedlip non-alcoholic cocktails—two simple serves and two more in-depth cocktail versions that will change with the seasons along with the alcoholic cocktail program. This will allow the restaurant the opportunity to highlight seasonal fruits and vegetables. 17 Orchard St., New York, 212-300-4053,
