While some are preparing for the chilly winter months ahead, some are already looking forward to the warm spring and summer months of 2023. For just one month, fashion lovers will get the chance to preview the “A New Dawn” line from Salvatore Ferragamo, which is set to officially launch next year.
Creative Director Maximilian Davis’ debut collection with Ferragamo is inspired by the modern age of Hollywood. He wanted to encapsulate the glamor and sensuality of the new Hollywood age. Starting on November 4, you will be able to preview new handbags, inspired by the Wanda handbag, and unique footwear.
The handbags are angular with abstract detailing on the body. While some items stick to the traditional neutrals, others stand out with a beautiful sunset orange and yellow. The shoes are a statement for the season with a circular heel or an abstract angular heel to finish off the outfit. The shoe styles come in pastel blue and yellow or bold black or red.
The collection is a combination of simple basics and bold statement pieces, with a variety of loafers and dress shoes, as well, for a more neutral and polished finish.
The line showcases bright orange and red as staple colors of the collection and includes a combination of pants, long sleeve tops, jackets and dresses. All of the pieces have a unique silhouette, creating diversity among the items.
While some items pay homage to Ferragamo’s work with the one and only Marilyn Monroe, other pieces showcase an edgy side through tailored pants and different silhouettes.
“It relates to Ferragamo, to Hollywood, to the ocean – but also to me, and to my own DNA,” Davis says in the press release, “I wanted to show that perspective, but now through the Ferragamo lens."
To check out the sneak peek, Ferragamo created an immersive virtual tool called “The World Of Ferragamo”. Through the tool, users can interact and experience different aspects of the new collection at the click of a button.
