Meet Gaia NoMaya, New York City’s first-of-its-kind social wellness oasis.
Disclaimer: We promise this isn't a Nine Perfect Strangers situation.
“Leveraging ancient healing practices with gatherings, Gaia NoMaya brings social wellness to the world through music as medicine, art as therapy, conscious plant-based cuisine, self-love, and connection.
Founded by two brothers Andrew Goldin and David Goldin, and Sara Ramirez Loaiza, Gaia NoMaya encourages others to nurture their nature, connect more with themselves and Mother Earth while healing the body, mind, and spirit.

Gaia NoMaya fuses modern and ancient knowledge and uses that insight for healing practices ranging from power vinyasa, crystal light therapy, sound meditation, and spa treatments to ceremonies, art exhibits, world music, and electronic beats,” the release discloses.
“I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at 16, which led me on an incredible wellness trajectory connecting to yoga, spa culture, and healthy eating instead of relying on traditional western medicine. After witnessing the life-changing benefits of ancient healing practices firsthand, I wanted to create a safe and exciting place where others could come and champion a healthy lifestyle, while also connecting with each other,” said Andrew Goldin, co-founder of Gaia NoMaya.
“Gaia NoMaya is an ode to the great nature-keepers of our Earth and an invitation to live & create a connection with ourselves, each other, and the world that is pure with passion and love for all that our planet provides.”
According to the release, visitors will find a plethora of offerings such as yoga, sound meditation, spa treatments, a salt cave, saunas, plant-based cuisine, healthy cocktails, herbal elixirs, live music, pop-up markets, art exhibits and so much more.
The plant-based cuisine and herbal non-alcoholic drinks are served by their sister company, Ambrosia Elixir Lounge and Cafe founded by Colombian Herbalist, Valeria De La Pava.
Gaia NoMaya also hosts weekly and monthly spa, culture, music, and art events ranging from Sonic Sanctuary Sundays, an immersive live music and wellness wonderland, to Wellness Wednesdays and Cacao Ceremonies.
“I believe there are many ways of healing and liberating the mind, body, and soul through holistic and sacred ancient practices. The wisdom behind ancient traditions and practices are the foundation of my offerings, so when I met Andrew at one of his social wellness events, I immediately felt deeply connected to the concept,” said Sara Ramirez Loaiza, co-founder of Gaia NoMaya.
“When he told me he envisioned me as part of the project and his mission to make this concept a social wellness sanctuary, I knew immediately I wanted to be a part of creating this space. Seeing our unique vision come to life has been the most rewarding experience and we’re so excited for people to come to Gaia NoMaya and embark on a wellness journey while enjoying the best things in life such as food, art, self-love , and music.”
The 7,000 square foot social wellness sanctuary is also available to book for private events.
Whether visitors are looking to unwind and relax, enjoy a delicious plant-based meal, celebrate happy hour with healthy cocktails or dance the night away to electronic beats and live world music, Gaia NoMaya has something for everyone, the release explains.
