Billie Eilish Will Perform at Global Citizen Live

Billie Eilish is set to perform at Global Citizen Live in New York City.

On September 25, 2021, Global Citizen is hosting and broadcasting their annual Global Citizen Live event that will last 24 hours. Many music artists will be performing across the globe to raise awareness of the Global Citizen mission.

Founded in 2008, Global Citizen is an non-profit organization created by Hugh Evans, Simon Moss and Wei Soo in Melbourne, Australia. Their mission is to defeat poverty, defend the planet, and demand equality.

The event features artists that believe in Global Citizen’s Recovery Plan for the World. “The Recovery Plan focuses on five key objectives: ending COVID-19 for all, ending the hunger crisis, resuming learning for all, protecting the planet, and advancing equity for all.”

If you want to help take action, you can make an account by downloading the Global Citizen app or sign up on their website. From there, you can sign petitions, contact government officials and world leaders, and more.

Performances will be happening from several parts of the world: New York City, Los Angeles, Lagos, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, London, Sydney, and Mumbai. In New York City, Billie Eilish, Coldplay, Lizzo, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Alessia Cara, Jennifer Lopez, Cyndi Lauper, and more will be performing.

In Los Angeles, Stevie Wonder, Green Day, Adam Lambert, Chloe and Halle, H.E.R., The Lumineers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Demi Lovato, and One Republic will be performing. In Paris, Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Charlie Puth, the Black Eyed Peas, Doja Cat, Stormzy, and more will be performing.
