The eccentric music icon Grace Jones takes the stage at the 50th anniversary of World Pride NYC this June.
The two-day festival, happening this year at Pier 97, has also enlisted singer Teyana Taylor and Brazilian performer Pabllo Vittar, among others.
"I couldn’t be more excited to perform in front of my LGBTQIA+ friends and the community that’s supported me for so many years during WorldPride 2019," Jones said in a statement to the press. "Saturday’s Pride Island lineup will be a celebration of everything that the community stands for and will go down in illustrious history."
Expect the legendary singer to pull out all the stops. Jones famously began hula hooping during a performance at The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert back in 2012, while singing "Slave to the Rhythm."
