Nicole Kidman stars in HBO's The Undoing
HBO's The Undoing was the mystery, psychological thriller of the year. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant had us on the edge of our seats for a month, and while the finale has now aired, the meloncholy moods and visual romance doesn't have to end.
The miniseries was a feast for the eyes with beautiful cinematogrophy filmed in stunning locations. Much of the show was shot in and around New York City, and it turns out the vintage beach house where Grace and Henry went to escape the city can be found on Long Island and is available for rent on Airbnb.
For $1,085 a night, you and your friends or family can stay at the three-story, six-bedroom, four-bath farm house, perfectly remodled and renovated to provide every modern convenience without losing an ounce of classic charm. According to the listing, this famous get-away has a huge kitchen with two sinks and two ovens. The dining table sits 14 for feasting, as well as five guest rooms outfitted with queen beds. The master bedroom sits on the second floor, boasting a king-sized bed.
You can climb to the top of that five-story tower and check ot the panoramic views. When you're tired of catching sun at the beach or playing with your kids on the jungle gym, you can indulge in a bath or steam shower, or become one with nature at the outside shower.
There's wireless internet, central heat and AC, plus ceiling fans in most rooms. The listing also promises "little hideaways" for reading and time alone - or just exploring TV mysteries.
The house sits on three acres of land in East Marion with 300 feet of private beach. Those planning a visit must book for a week at least from mid-June to mid-September. Honestly, a week is hardly enough time.
