Carrie Bradshaw has been informing New York’s cultural zeitgeist since 1998.
Some may call this shoe-obsessed, sex columnist the first influencer to rule the streets of Manhattan.
Over two decades later, Bradshaw’s spunky, against-the-grain style continues to be relevant.
To help you achieve a Carrie Bradshaw-approved lifestyle, we’ve connected with formidable fashion mogul, Caroline Vazzana.
Hailed as the “modern-day Carrie Bradshaw” by none other than Patricia Field herself, Vazzana is regularly sought out for her perspective on all things fashion.
A notable personality known for her bright and eclectic approach to style, Caroline isn’t afraid to push the boundaries, much like her Manholo Blahnik-loving predecessor.
Grab your cosmos and your girl gang (RIP Samantha), and let’s get into it.

We all know the beloved Carrie Bradshaw - I mean, a majority of people reading this possibly moved to NYC because of Carrie and her gal pals. I've curated my own list of favorites that I personally like to visit for what I'd call my modern-day Carrie Bradshaw lifestyle.

Personally, I go to Jack's Wife Freda because the food is delicious and the people-watching is prime. Plus, with outdoor dining, you get to show off your look as people walk by.
54 Prince St, Manhattan/Website
Right next to Sant Ambreous, La Pecora Bianca is underrated and just as good, plus you can always get a table. I'm a creature of habit and I feel like Carrie had her tried and true spots with her gals as well.
As to what to order, it’s always gossip with a side of fries.
9 Spring St, Manhattan/Website
This curated store features archival designer vintage and I'm obsessed. It's really tiny so you don't get overwhelmed while visiting but there's just enough that you can find something truly special.
174 Ludlow St, Manhattan/Website
This store has a mix of vintage and upcycled, the feathery tops are one of a kind and something I love and know Carrie would too.

I'm sorry but with one column a week, Carrie isn't shopping for Manolos every week for full price. I love The Real Real for gorgeous items, but with a second-hand price tag.
51 35th St, Brooklyn/Website
I think in 2022 Carrie would go to Brooklyn, the vintage designer is too good not to! I love Arcade because of its colorful selection of vintage pieces, I always leave with my new favorite piece!
67 W 49th St, Manhattan/Website
I don't go to midtown often, but I know Carrie would. I recently discovered Pebble bar and if you're in the area, it's a must-visit. The scene is super cool, which you know Carrie loves, and the cocktails are delicious.

I love the West Village and the martinis at Dante's are a must for after-work drinks with the girls. This downtown hotspot is even featured in And Just Like That! I couldn’t help but wonder, are martinis the new cosmopolitan?
The key to dressing like a modern-day Carrie Bradshaw is not following trends, but setting them. Wear what you love and don't worry about what's cool or what everyone else is wearing. Stay true to yourself and always wear a fun pair of shoes.
