Always have a beat on hot new restaurants? Pride yourself on knowing what wine to pair with everything? Take pleasure in knowing the manager’s hand at your local Italian? Then INHOUSE might be the club for you. Inspired by the relationships he developed while working at The NoMad, founder Benjy Leibowitz created INHOUSE in 2016. INHOUSE is a network for like minded and curious hospitality enthusiasts, comprised of industry professionals and enthusiastic diners, all of whom enjoy, seek and provide meaningful dining experiences. INHOUSE seeks to connect both sides of the table, creating a community of restaurant regulars and professionals who share an appreciation for London and New York’s distinct dining culture.

Speaking to Leibowitz I learned that one of the major sparks of inspiration behind the birth of INHOUSE was the well understood sayings in the restaurant industry: “There’s no better way to dine than as a regular”, and “There’s no better guest to have in your dining room than a regular”. Based on this, Leibowitz set out to create a group of people who have a clear respect, interest, curiosity, and appetite for the hospitality industry - a membership club for people who care about restaurants in a real and meaningful way.

Each month, INHOUSE offers a variety of programming options, including dinners seated alongside leading sommeliers and chefs, hard hat tours of new restaurants, exclusive chef- collaborations, specially curated parties, and speaker series of industry leaders. Leibowitz spoke vibrantly about the dinners, wine tastings, tours, and how the events were some of his favorite moments. He spoke about the importance of inviting people “from both sides”, (meaning members and restaurant professionals), and what a great opportunity to socialize the events were. Among his favorite events have been a pasta making class with L’Artusi Executive Chef Joe Vigorito and wine tasting events with Somms and the more wine-focused members.

Leibowitz explains, “Just as art aficionados visit galleries and theater admirers attend live performances, I believe that there is a culture surrounding restaurants and diners who enjoy and seek dining experiences. The INHOUSE experience is inclusive and aims to bring together industry professionals and restaurant regulars, together creating memorable dining experiences with members from both sides of the table.” INHOUSE understands the importance of regulars to maintain a flourishing restaurant industry and extends that value to new restaurants in its network.

New York restaurant partners include ABC Cocina, ABC Kitchen, abcv, Agern, L’Artusi, Atoboy, Babbo, Bar Primi, Batard, Beatrice Inn, Blue Hill, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Cafe Altro Paradiso, Casa Mono, Charlie Bird, Cosme, Contra, Decoy, dell’anima, The Dutch, Estela, Fedora, Fausto, Flora Bar, Gramercy Tavern, Jean Georges, King, Lafayette, Legacy Records, Lilia and Loring Place to name a few!
