Perched right next to Central Park, Isabel Marant's new 677 Madison Avenue store is by far the brand’s largest brick-and-mortar to date, boasting a sprawling 2,960 square feet of yummy retail we can’t wait to shop.
Both floors of the ultra-chic store are chock-full of the brand’s very best, including Isabel Marant’s women’s, men’s, etoile and accessories. Seventies references, a house signature and Manhattan’s typical industrial-chic aesthetic adorn the space, providing a backdrop that speaks to the strong ties between two of the world’s fashion capitals: Paris and NYC. The architecture mirrors the brand’s passion for craftsmanship, as the building’s front facade is sleek and elegant, showcasing attention to detail in the engraved concrete panels and carefully crafted texture. Two large display windows allow plenty of natural light to fill the interior space, bringing to life the natural elements brought in by the concrete floors dotted with stones and terracotta tiles. An eclectic mix of statement furniture extends throughout the space, ranging from a fluffy Berber sofa to fiber porcelain display units, hand-carved wooden shelves and expansive mirrors. Pops of color represent Maran’s pioneering spirit, with green, pink and yellow accents embellishing the mural installations. Talented local designers and artisans had a hand in the store’s design, collaborating with Marant’s studio to create an authentically New York experience. Artist Arnold Goron designed the centerpiece adorning the women’s collection on the ground floor. The bright pink table gorgeously presents the season’s key accessories, and the colored metal sculpture at the foot of the stairs commands attention. The store will be open from 11AM to 7PM Monday through Saturday, and 12PM to 6PM on Sundays.
