Home & Real Estate,
After 10 years, Jimmy Fallon is bidding his one-of-a-kind New York City home adieu. According to a report by The Real Deal, The Tonight Show host's 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom apartment is currently listed for $15 million.
The penthouse, located at 34 Gramercy Park East, was treated to extensive customizations during Fallon and his family's tenure. Combining four separate units, the whimsical pad spans 5,000 square feet and comes to life in a variety of quirky fixtures.
Fallon's wife, film producer Nancy Juvonen, took charge of the renovations. She lined the place in vintage wallpaper and artwork from friends and family. Some of this artwork even came from celebrity figures, including Drew Barrymore.
“My design rule is that as soon as someone tells me what something is supposed to be, I start going in the opposite direction,” Juvoven is quoted.
The apartment has other quirks as well. No doubt the humorous bunch enjoyed the home's hidden playroom within the pantry, and we imagine there was much inspiration gathered inside a restored turret made to looks like the inside of a tree.
Sotheby's International Realty is handling the listing, calling the space “unparalleled and unique.” Still, brokers Jeremy Steina and Debbie Korb said the space could be redone to match the expectations and taste of the future buyer.
Fallon and Juvoven aren't moving too far away from the city. Fallon, of course, is still filming The Tonight Show on set each evening. Like many New Yorkers who have left the heartf of the city in the midst of the pandemic, the couple plans to settle more permanently in their Sagaponack estate in Long Island, which they've also owned for about a decade.
