Kindel Grand Rapids is famed for being well and truly made in the USA. They are one of the last remaining furniture brands in the country to create handcrafted, luxury American furniture. Over the past three years, Kindel Grand Rapids acquired both Karges (originally from Indiana) and Councill (hailing from North Carolina) to save the brands from extinction, instead opting to move both to the Kindel home base in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kindel Grand Rapids is an impressive 116-year-old company, still committed to the highest level of craftsmanship in American furniture.

What truly sets the company apart is their bench-made process that allows Kindel Grand Rapids to create bespoke furniture. Their made-to-order practices are also impressive - they allow for customization of nearly any kind from changing dimensions, wood species, paint color, and functionality of any piece in their line. These unique capabilities make them truly limitless, and their integrated facility has the flexibility to manufacture 1 or 500 of a piece, which is rare in the furniture industry today. This creativity has made them a popular collaborator with prestigious hotels including The Greenbrier, The Grand Hotel, The Stoneleigh and The Colony Hotel among others.
