If your FYP is anything like ours, it’s been full of videos of the Le Petit Chef experience taking place at New York Marriott Marquis’ The View. Originally conceptualized to run for a limited time, the dining experience has been extended through September by popular demand.
The experience is much more than just a meal, as cutting-edge 3D technology and visual storytelling bring Le Petit Chef to life right at your table through engaging animation. The culinary journey lasts for two hours, in which customers watch as Le Petit Chef makes their entire meal, from catching fresh lobster to battling a bumblebee to help cook short rib. The show is choreographed in tandem with the View’s staff for a seamless meal that is as entertaining as it is delicious.
The four-course meal is incredible from start to finish and begins with burrata with whipped ricotta, heirloom tomatoes, frico, balsamic, basil oil and smoked salt before the second course of chilled Maine lobster with shaved fennel, citrus supremes, blood orange vinaigrette, tarragon aioli and sorrel and more. Next, beef short ribs are paired with patatas bravas, grilled asparagus, chimichurri and smoked paprika aioli followed by the final course, a matcha coconut espresso fusion with chocolate Breton, matcha gelato, crunchy coconut dacquoise, raspberry, match marshmallow and warm espresso ganache. The experience takes place Wednesday through Sunday and can be booked here.
