Tucked away in the heart of the West Village, on the corner of 7th Avenue South and Perry Street, is brand-new French hot spot Le Petit Village.

When an NFL star, his business partner and an experienced duo of restaurateurs unveil a new dining spot in an iconic location, you know it’s going to be good. In partnership with Jets captain CJ Mosley and his business partner Brandon Wassel, this brand-new opening took place exactly five years to the day after co-owners Mino Habib and Mathias Van Leyden opened beloved Loulou in Chelsea. It’s safe to say that they know what they are doing.
This new bistro will serve authentic French food perfectly curated by executive chef Mehjabin Ahmed, a seasoned chef with experience in some of the world’s most renowned restaurants, like the Bistrot Paul Bert in Paris. This Culinary Institute of America graduate uses her expertise in French cuisine to bring delectable French-inspired dishes to La Petit Village. Expect to find dishes such as irresistible cassoulet, coq au vin and boeuf bourguignon, along with many other outstanding dishes. To match, the beverage program is not to be missed. Curated by Jeremy Le Blanche, the cocktail menu brings perfectly balanced flavor profiles that pack a punch. A notable cocktail is the Fleure Blanche, with an intriguing bee pollen-infused vodka, St. Germain elderflower, cucumber pani puri syrup garnished with baby’s breath, dry ice and edible glitter.
Delphine Mauroit designed this elegant new 3,000-square-foot French restaurant, which draws inspiration from the cozy villages of Provence. Upon arriving, a warm welcome, complete with an entry full of beautiful flowers and greenery, whisks you away to France. Inside, find a timeless ambiance and vintage fireplace await, followed by elegant dark red leather banquettes juxtaposed with exposed brick walls. The second floor houses an uber-chic hidden speakeasy, ideal for private events and cocktail tastings.
Complete with a mix of extraordinary food, superb cocktails and unbeatable ambiance, Le Petit Village is the new must-visit spot we expect to be all over social media. A spot where everyone belongs and unforgettable moments abound, we'll see you at Le Petit Village.
