Music legend Lenny Kravitz has long pushed the envelope when it comes to creative expression. Known for blending genres and styles, Kravitz now brings his boundary-breaking approach to a new collaboration with iconic eyewear brand Ray-Ban.
The partnership, available now through Ray-Ban stores and its website, presents the next release in the Ray-Ban Reverse collection. Featuring inverted concave lenses, the latest designs offer new colorways that nod to Kravitz’s boundary-breaking history in style and music.
“As a lifelong fan of Ray-Ban, their timeless style has always resonated with me,” Kravitz said. “The Ray-Ban Reverse collaboration is a dream come true, allowing me to merge my love for music and fashion with such an iconic brand. It's about breaking boundaries, embracing individuality, and seeing the world from a new perspective through those innovative lenses.”
The capsule collection includes aviator-style sunglasses in black, chrome and limited-edition gold, each of which is engraved with a Kravitz signature on the left lens. It also comes with special packaging and a case signed by the award-winning artist.
In creating the collection, Ray-Ban and Kravitz emphasized sustainable materials and practices including bio-based plastics and recycled packaging. This aligns with Kravitz's longtime advocacy around environmental issues.
Beyond dabbling in fashion, Kravitz continues making waves in music. He's prepping his thirteenth studio album after dropping the single "Human" in late 2023. The prolific artist also recently penned a song for the acclaimed Netflix film Rustin, earning Kravitz a Golden Globe nomination.
With the Ray-Ban partnership, Kravitz again affirms his eclectic creative identity—one that resists labels and expectations.
The Kravitz collaboration is also accompanied by a number of new colorful-washed lenses for the Reverse wayfarer frames, which include burgundy, blue and black acetate.
