Last night, Lotte New York Palace hosted its annual event, The Palace Invitational, now in its fifth year, where some of tennis’ biggest names battled for glory in a spirited badminton tournament. Guests took in the courtside views while enjoying cocktails, Chateau D’Esclans wines and light bites “served up” in honor of America’s largest annual tennis tournament, the US Open.
Players included 11-time French Open winner Rafael “Rafa” Nadal, legendary sisters Serena and Venus Williams, upcoming star and youngest woman to win a Wimbledon match Cori “Coco” Gauff, German players and brothers Alexander “Sascha” & Mischa Zverev, record holder for consecutive service aces Sam Querrey, and top five rated Russian player Daniil Medvedev who has won three finals since committing to attend The Palace Invitational.
