M is for Madonna, the queen of reinvention.
She's a spy, she's a dancer, she's a wife, she's Madonna! The music icon takes on an entirely new persona in her latest string of music videos for "Madame X," her new album set to drop June 14.
In a full Fausto Puglisi ensemble, Madonna croons about love and love lost. Rapper Swae Lee joins her, eventually they meet atop a NYC rooftop before the two vanish when their hands meet.
Madonna revealed in a video on Instagram that the name of her album was inspired by her legendary dance teacher Martha Graham who once told her, “I’m going to give you a new name: Madame X. Every day, you come to school and I don’t recognize you. Every day, you change your identity. You’re a mystery to me.”
