Major Food Group has done it again with the opening of ZZ’s Club New York, a private members club that will set a new standard for NYC’s private club industry.
MFG co-founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi are bringing the new concept to life, complete with two floors of Ken Fulk-designed luxurious spaces. Offering hospitality tailored to each member, amenities include dedicated Culinary Concierges intended to make any food dream come true as well as two restaurants: Japanese hot spot ZZ’s and Carbone Privato, the first-ever private outpost of MFG’s beloved Carbone.

The space boasts a number of culinary destinations, including ZZ’s Bar, a tropical bar seated in a double-height room complete with an aquatic mural, gilded palm fronds and a decadent raw bar. We also love the Clam Bar, a lounge that pays homage to the original ZZ’s Michelin-starred Clam Bar, which opened in Manhattan in 2013. And of course, Carbone Privato brings the Carbone experience to entirely new heights with Carbone’s signature dishes alongside exclusive new plates that the team has been developing for years (think lobster risotto all/arrabbiata and maraschino quail). Extra-cold martinis crafted from custom blends of gin and vodka are just the cherry on top.
The fun doesn’t stop at incredible cuisine, as ZZ’s Club also features a gorgeous collection of art curated by ZZ’s founding member Vito Schnabel, with artists including Andy Warhol, Francesco Clemente, Rita Ackermann, René Ricard, and Julian Schnabel. Stretch Armstrong will be serving as musical director. Founding members will have access to the founders’ room, a lounge serving all the food and beverage offerings available at ZZ’s Club alongside bespoke dining experiences.
