The critically-acclaimed hit series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel embodies the enthralling essence of New York City.
According to the release, the series spotlights the spirit of the Big Apple in the late 1950s and early 1960s, capturing the city at the height of the Golden Age of entertainment.
Just in time for the release of the fourth season, fans will now have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the glamour of New York City history.
You can now step into the life of Miriam “Midge” Maisel at The Plaza with Maisel-inspired experiences dreamed up by the hotel and Prime Video.
For more than 100 years, The Palm Court at The Plaza has been New York City’s beloved destination for Afternoon Tea. This month, Pastry Chef Matthew Lambie brings a new spirit to The Palm Court’s timeless, elegant tradition. The Midge Menu – named after the show’s leading lady – will reimagine the legendary three-tiered Afternoon Tea with an elevated twist on classics from the era, according to the release.

Guests will enjoy savory bites ranging from a refined deli-style pastrami tea sandwich on rye to a beet-infused deviled egg. Sweet treats include a classic black-and-white cookie reimagined as a signature macaron, a Lekach-Esque honey spiced cake, a yuzu, and lemon meringue pie inspired by the diner's favorite, and a chocolate Nutella babka cheesecake, a combination of two of the Big Apple’s famed desserts.
The release states, “Hotel guests and Afternoon Tea patrons can explore a series of vitrines surrounding The Palm Court to view a selection of costumes and props featured in season four, which premiered February 18 exclusively on Prime Video with two new episodes dropping every Friday for four weeks.”
The limited-time Midge Menu will be served at The Palm Court at The Plaza now through Sunday, March 13, 2022, for $99 per person. Reservations are required. To book, call 212-546-5300 or email [email protected].
Straight out of season four, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Suite is inspired by Midge Maisel’s freshly decorated Upper West Side apartment. Midge’s aesthetic comes to life in the Suite, a luxurious one-bedroom accommodation complete with a separate parlor room, including marvelous furnishings and antiques and accouterments sourced directly from the 50s & 60s, the release states.
“Guests will be immersed in Midge Maisel’s world the moment they enter, with a mid-century modern sitting area featuring a vintage TV, bar cart, and furniture inspired by Midge’s apartment, with vintage pieces mixed with modern replicas that will allow guests to step back in time and into the Maisel home. Series fans will also enjoy a custom-made replica bed frame with thoughtful amenities. With pops of the series’ signature pink palette, from linens to décor, guests will feel as if Midge herself were staying for the night,” per the release.
Guests who book the suite will enjoy Afternoon Tea for two to experience the Midge Menu, a Midge Maisel-inspired Hairstyling from the Warren Tricomi Salon, and access to a one-of-a-kind shoppable Midge closet courtesy of The Plaza Boutique.
