Michael Kors hosted a glamorous evening in New York to celebrate the opening of the new Michael Kors Collection store on Madison Avenue. The star-studded night kicked off with a gorgeous cocktail party at the new store, in which guests enjoyed refreshments, light bites and a live jazz trio while exploring the space.

Kors then relocated to the ever-chic Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel to join guests such as Katie Holmes, Alan Cumming, Julianna Margulies, Iman, Cristin Milioti and more. A-listers enjoyed craft cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while enjoying a surprise performance by Tony Award-winning actor Alan Cumming.
Of course, the crowd was impeccably dressed. Katie Holmes wore a black wool gabardine strapless origami sheath dress from the Spring/Summer 2025 Michael Kors Collection, while Alan Cumming wore a blush Mongolian shearling clutch coat with a banker mélange cashmere sweater and wool flannel trousers, all from the Fall/Winter 2024 Michael Kors Collection. We also love Nicole Scherzinger’s ensemble of a black double crepe sablé boyfriend blazer and sequined fishtail skirt, both from the Spring/Summer 2025 Michael Kors Collection.
