Event co-chair and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" star Michaela Coel is a fiercely golden sensation on the 2023 Met Gala red carpet, celebrating “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty." Coel arrived decked out in head-to-toe gold, from the stately diamond-and-gold collar to the melded gold heels with a toe-shaped silhoutte. Her semi-sheer, long-sleeved gown by Schiaparelli served as the glamorous canvas, embroidered by 130,000 crystals and star-shaped ornaments. The dress code for the gala is "in honor of Karl," the fashion icon notorious for his work at French fashion house Chanel.
