Celebrate Mothers Day and treat the ones you love, all while supporting the children of Ukraine.
DreamDry salon and AskIlysa Event Planning are set to host its fourth Dream Big Bazaar, and this year’s event will see a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Tikva US Charity for Orphan Children of Ukraine.
Come Wednesday, April 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DreamDry Flatiron location to shop female-founded brands that will make the perfect Mother's day gift.
As Ukraine faces insurmountable tragedies during the ongoing war, the Tikva Children’s Home in Odessa is in need of drastic support in the form of evacuations and supplies to ensure the safety of children.
Tikva has so far evacuated 1,000 people from Ukrainian war zones, and with this emergency relief fundraising campaign, you can directly assist with covering the costs of shelter relocation, transportation, food and other necessities.
“Tikva Children’s Home has been saving the orphaned Jewish children of Ukraine and helping them transition to self sufficiency for over two decades,” Tikva’s Director of Development Yanna Begelman is quoted in a press release. “Today, we need your help, prayers and donations to ensure we can continue our mission during this time of war.”
The Dream Big Bazaar will carry luxury products from brands including Las Guanacas, Goldie, Retrofete, The Ear Stylist and many more. Sip on cocktails and enjoy special bites, then take advantage of discounted dry styling services, raffles and other special promotions.
As you treat yourself and shop for someone you love, you’ll become a small but mighty part of the support for Ukrainian children.
“I am honored to organize such a meaningful event with DreamDry to assist the innocent children of Ukraine in to support the selfless efforts of Tikva,” said Ilysa Steinberg, founder of Ask Ilysa. “This is a cause that is very important to me and I continue to help in any manner that I can,” she added.
