Sustainable cashmere purveyor Naadam is bringing its brand of ethical luxury to New York. Today, Naadam opens their very first permanent store at 392 Bleecker Street, bringing their direct-to-consumer cashmere products to New York City’s retail landscape.
While guests will be able to explore Naadam’s luxurious world of cashmere products up close and personal, the store provides an even more unique and special opportunity to experience the brand. Naadam offers a one-of-a-kind, immersive retail journey, featuring giant cashmere clouds and tuft covered wall-to-floor areas emulating the steppes of Mongolia, where the brand sources it’s sustainable cashmere and where the goats live and graze.
Shoppers will also have the opportunity to be transported to Mongolia via a virtual reality headset, and various diagrams, photography, and tools in display cases will further tell the brand’s story, allowing shoppers to feel the cashmere at different stages in its life cycle Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. 392 Bleecker Street, naadam.co
