Saigon Social x Chef Matt Hyland
172 Orchard St. / Website
Chef Helen Nguyen of Saigon Social continues her “Saigon Summer” chef partener series, in which she invites different chefs to join her in creating a special menu that will be served for one night only.
On July 20th, Nguyen will pair up with Chef Matt Hyland of Emily and Emmy Squared for a night of burgers, tots and boozy slushies. Menu highlights include a bahn mi burger, caviar tots with creme fraiche and chives and vegetarian cool ranch street corn.
The menu will be offered beginning at 5pm until it is sold out, with a part of all proceeds going to Heart of Dinner, a nonprofit dedicated to combating food insecurity and isolation within NYC’s elderly East Asian American community.
Limani New York
45 Rockefeller Plz / Website
If you can’t escape the summer heat with a trip to the Greek Islands, Limani New York’s Greek Mediterranean offerings are the next best thing. Located in the heart of Rockefeller Center, Limani’s has outdoor dining with views of the entire plaza, and their dining room is transformed into a Mediterranean oasis complete with an infinity pool and open-style kitchens.
The Mykonos-inspired atmosphere extends to the seafood-based menu, with dinner offerings ranging from big-eye tuna sashimi or tartare and Kumamoto oysters for appetizers to lobster and organic salmon for main dishes.
Try Limani’s three course prix-fixe lunch menu priced at $37.50 with dishes such as grilled octopus, Mediterranean sea bass and Greek specialty yiaourti.

Creamline Beer Garden
75 9th Ave / Website
New in July 2021 is Creamline Beer Garden, a collaboration between Creamline and Catskill Brewery that you can find at Creamline within Chelsea Market. The beer garden features an entirely new menu from Creamline alongside beers made with locally sourced ingredients and Catskill Mountain water.
Beer isn’t limited to just the drinks, though. Creamline’s classic American fare is updated with a number of beer-infused dishes including warm beer cheese served with pretzel chips and pretzel nuggets, a bacon-onion-beer jam cheeseburger and an ice cream float with Catskill Brewery’s Nightshine Black Lager.
Grab a “Tackle Box” stocked with one of each type of Catskill beer to find your favorite brew.
Sixty Three Clinton
63 Clinton St.
Brand new restaurant Sixty Three Clinton is now open on the Lower East Side. The cozy, 60-seat dining area features a front room with a white, U-shaped marble bar looking into the open kitchen while the main dining room is accented with wrought iron, wood and marble for a sophisticated, timeless look.
Dishes include the breakfast taco with ajitama, salsa verde and trout roe, a charcoal-seared crudo with yuzu vinaigrette and shiso and a seasonal agnolotti pasta. The single dessert available is a wood-fired baked Alaska.
Sit at the bar to try the a la carte menu that will roll out within the coming weeks, or experience the full tasting menu priced at $92 in the main dining room.
Nakaji/Bar at Nakaji
48 Bowery / Website
Sushi chef Kunihide Nakajima has collaborated with Hirokuni Okura, president of centuries-old sake brewery Suigei, to create a special sake exclusive to Nakaji that pairs perfectly with the restaurant’s dining experience.
Nakajima designed the bottle himself with a fuschia label and illustration of a whale in a nod to Suigei, which means “drunken whale.”
While you head over to Nakaji to try this exclusive new collaboration, be sure to also check out their new menu of elevated bar snacks including assorted traditional otsumami, an uni tasting sourced from Toyoshu Market and Nakajima’s daily selection of sashimi and nigiri.
11 E 31st St / Website
Lamalo has re-opened, and the casual modern restaurant is the perfect place to try authentic, flavorful Middle Eastern dishes with a nod to New York. A great meal begins with a feast of Middle Eastern dips and spreads accompanied by a Jerusalem Laffa baked to order. Other menu highlights include kohlrabi and fennel with preserved lemon vinaigrette, lamb kofta with caramelized onions and shrimp with aleppo oil.
Enjoy a drink at rooftop lounge A.R.T. Nomad while you wait for a table and enjoy the stunning views of the New York City skyline.
