Indoor dining is finally set to reopen on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, and the city's chefs, restaurant staff and food fanatics could not be more excited.
It's perfect timing as couples seek fun and flavor for a romantic night out, but friends looking to gather in a safe and delicious environment are welcome just the same.
We’ve compiled a list of new restaurants, partnerships and concepts opening throughout the city. From new sushi items at Ivan Ramen to a grand return of NOIR Supperclub’s dance floor, a vegan pasta and wine bar, plant-based southern comfort food and more, these are the must-try menus and exciting openings you don't want to miss.

Maman University Place

The Maman empire expands with a tenth location in the village, opening on Feb. 8. From Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Maman will offer a cozy café full of coffee, brunch, sweet treats and a made-to-order savory menu. Outdoor sidewalk seating will be coming soon, and when indoor dining opens, Maman University Place will serve happy hour cocktails at the bar.
Ivan Ramen x Blue Sushi Sake Grill Partnership

Blue Sushi Sake Grill of the Flagship Restaurant Group has announced a new partnership with Ivan Ramen (which you might have seen on Netflix' Chef's Table). Founder Ivan Orkin will deliver an authentic ramen experience across the U.S. at 15 Blue Sushi Sake Grill locations, including the spot in NYC's Lower East Side. The menu is available for takeout and delivery from the New York location.
NOIR Supperclub
357 W. 16th St. / Website
NOIR Supperclub will officially reopen for Valentine’s Day. The upscale restaurant features a modern take on classic cocktails and elevated Asian cuisine served in a 1920s-inspired space. On Feb. 14, the Supperclub will welcome singles to dine on the dance floor at their own banquette from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and couples will be able to dine on the mezzanine overhead.
Soda Club

Soda Club is a brand-new vegan pasta and wine bar under the Overthrow Hospitality Group. With dishes such as focaccia, gnocchi, rigatoni and panna cotta, Soda Club will open on Valentine’s Day with limited indoor and outdoor dining. For Valentine’s Day, there will be a special multi-course pasta tasting menu from Chef Amira Gharib.
Cadence

Cadence is opening on Valentine’s Day, too, as the East Village’s newest vegan Southern soul food restaurant. A collaboration between Overthrow Hospitality and Executive Chef Shenarri Greens, the plant-based menu features items such as Jerk Mac and Cheese, Southern Fried Lasagna, Smoked Grits and more.
Etérea

Yet another Overthrow Hospitality concept opening in the East Village on Valentine’s Day. This one is in partnership with Executive Chef Xila Caudillo and features a menu of Mexican Coctelería and Cocina with dishes like tamales, chilaquiles, corn rib elote and more.
