It’s that time of the year again, and New York Fashion Week has returned to our fair city. NYFW occurs twice a year, once in February and once in September, giving designers a chance to display their Fall/Winter collections in February and their Spring/Summer collections in September. We've rounded up everything you need to know about fashion week September 2024.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collections promise to be just as exciting as ever, with over 70 confirmed designers taking part in the official NYFW schedule. Returning beloved American brands such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Altuzarra, Khaite, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Ulla Johnson, Tory Burch and more will be showcasing collections. There will also be tons of programming happening alongside the shows, such as the return of NYFW: The Menu, a dining experience including 25 restaurants across Manhattan. So here’s to a week of glitz, glam, paparazzi and, of course, incredible fashion!
Fashion week officially runs from Friday, September 6 to Wednesday, September 11. The Council of Fashion Designers of America owns and organizes the Fashion Calendar and official NYFW schedule, which requires a formal application process for inclusion on the Official Schedule. While many shows and presentations are invite-only, there are tons of ways to get in on the NYFW fun. Keep an eye on NYFW: The Shows, which has streamed shows in the past.
