NYC's Most Fashionable Share a Look Inside Their Closet

By Lauren Epstein and Samantha Yanks | April 6, 2018 | Style & Beauty

Your closet tells a compelling story—it reveals so much about you, from your personal style to your organizational quirks. Four of New York’s top tastemakers open their inner sanctums, sharing their most covetable collections, hidden treasures and latest obsessions.

Who: Lisa Eryn Silverman
What: Founder, TheseFineWalls
Collector of: Art, particularly photography
Hoarder of: Old-fashioned and interior design magazines
Most cherished: My grandmother’s watches
Favorite places to shop in NYC: Since becoming a mom, I have become more of an online shopper— actually, an app shopper—on my phone! Net-A-Porter, Revolve, Shopbop, Zara and, as always, my mom’s closet.
Favorite fashion designers: They’re always changing, but at the moment Alexander McQueen, Chloé, Alexander Wang, Zimmermann, Helmut Lang and Gucci and Chanel for accessories.
Closet aesthetic: White, clean and open. Practical and fun.
Designed by: Me! We did construction when we moved in, and rebuilding the master closet was part of the project. I designed the layout and we worked with a great contractor, Best & Company, to construct it. Lisa Jacobs from Imagine It Done helped get it beautifully organized.
Best feature: I love that it is an open space connecting my bedroom and bathroom and that I share it with my husband. We spend a lot of time in it!
Special elements: The photography and art. It is a bit of a TheseFineWalls showcase in there!

Favorite places to shop in NYC: Narnia in Williamsburg for vintage and Bird in Williamsburg for new ready-to-wear and accessories
