Contemporary NYC living with elegant finishes comes to life at 30 East 29th Street, where the Rose Hill building's residences were designed by CetraRuddy and furnished by IMG. Boasting 2,610 square feet, two bedrooms and three bathrooms, Penthouse B is the height of Rose Hill luxury. An oversized living room, eat-in kitchen and plenty of additional studying and lounging areas are complemented by two working fireplaces and unfettered views of Midtown. “Rose Hill is a special project,” shares Cristina Parra Isaza, designer at IMG. “The architecture of the space has a clean, modern feel, with 13-foot-tall ceilings that were brought to life when we installed our uniquely curated pieces purchased from around the world.”
With northeast, west and southwest exposures, light abounds throughout the space. If that’s not enough, step outside onto the 613 square feet of outdoor entertaining space. The interiors are outfitted with gorgeous hardwood floors, bronze-finished hardware and luxurious finishes. “We wanted to keep a simple palette of materials and colors that created a more seamless flow within the apartment,” Isaza reveals. Miele appliances abound in the kitchen, which is complete with custom ultra-matte, dark charcoal woodwork, metal-framed glass upper cabinetry and Calacatta-honed marble countertops.
The bedrooms are just as swanky, with the primary bath featuring a custom-designed vanity, brass-finished fixtures and heated floors in dark marble. “Many of the pieces come from our new IMG collection, designed and produced in Brazil, making these pieces unique,” shares Isaza. “Each piece we brought has a shape, material, color and texture that complements and softens the architectural elements of the space.”
Rose Hill’s luxuries extend beyond just the residences, as the double-height lobby complete with an eight-foot black marble fireplace relaxes you as soon as you walk inside the door. The jewel-box lounge and landscaped courtyard with outdoor seating provide additional spaces to rejuvenate. A fully equipped gym curated by Fhitting Room, a professional-grade squash court in collaboration with SquashRx, a 50-foot pool and a dry heat sauna continues the wellness offerings. Finally, the entire 37th floor is dedicated to building amenities such as the library lounge with a billiards table, a private dining room and two covered terraces with fabulous cityscape views. $12.995 million, CORE NYC, Nicole Grandelli, 917.363.0030, [email protected]
