Many of us know and love Parcelle as the website that delivers neighborhood wine shop vibes in a digital home, providing exceptional bottles in a laid-back setting. Sommelier Grant Reynolds founded the brand back in 2018 and has been supplying NYC with conversation-worthy labels via delivery to your door ever since. Now, the brand expands with its first wine bar, and the resulting space is just as exciting as the wine.
Located on the Lower East side, Parcelle’s new wine bar is a versatile space that allows guests to sit and sip amongst the ultra-chic furniture or select wines with sommeliers for later delivery. Unsurprisingly, the wine offerings are vast and impressive (over 500 bottles!), including delicious table wines and rare and collectible bottles.
Reynolds and co-founder Josh Abramson collaborated with interior designer Paul Renwick to purposefully create a decidedly approachable atmosphere, where guests can simply stop by for a glass, come browse or enjoy a themed tasting class. Renwick sourced jewel-tone furniture from vintage designers such as Gio Ponti, De Sede and Verner Panton for an upscale yet comfortable finish.
In the evenings, Parcelle offers plates and an extensive wine list, all of which are available for purchase through the website. Chef Ron Yan creates both select bar snacks and a full pre-fixe dinner menu available Tuesday through Thursday. Out-of-towners, feel free to fall in love, because Parcelle’s wine delivery is available nationally.
