Gronk spike! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end and four-time Super Bowl winner Rob Gronkowski, lovingly known to fans as “Gronk,” just purchased a $7 million apartment at Related’s 35 Hudson Yards, according to the New York Post.
The 2,652-square-foot home sits at the corner of the building and boasts three bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms, so there is plenty of space for the 6"6' athlete to kick back and host guests. No doubt he and supermodel girlfriend Camille Kostek will know how to make the best of this lounge space.
Gronk’s new space is nothing short of stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, bedroom and eat-in kitchen for plenty of light. There are views of the Hudson River as well as the surrounding skyscrapers all around the apartment.
Other interior features include wide-plank oak floors, a marble backsplash and counters, and light wood cabinets. Those bright features, clean lines and ample windows give the unit a radiant quality, comfortable and chic at the same time. The Post reports that Gronk has big plans for decorating, starting with a commission from Los Angeles-based artist Kai.
The building is the definition of luxury, designed by David Childs of SOM with interior designing by Tony Ingrao. Gronk can enjoy an array of luxurious amenities, including a flagship Equinox with its own spa and hotel, indoor and outdoor pools, a SoulCycle, a residents-only gym, playroom, business center, lounge, and dining room, as well as a terrace that even comes with catering services.
Between the interior design of the apartment and the building’s amenities, we’re hoping this dream home doesn’t pull him back into retirement any time soon. The decorated NFL star took 2019 off but was culled back from his break by former Patriots quarterback and friend Tom Brady. The two played together for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and helped the Florida team win its second Super Bowl Championship.
