On Monday, April 15, 2019, Ruinart Champagne and New Museum hosted an intimate dinner celebrating landscape designer Lily Kwong, who received the Ruinart Artistic Innovation Award. The dinner also honored Xin Liu and Gerson Dublon of creative studio Slow Immediate. Kwong, Liu and Dublon are all members of NEW INC—the New Museum's cultural incubator, which is supported by Ruinart as part of its longstanding dedication to the arts since its founding in 1729 as the first established Champagne House. Lily was chosen to receive the Ruinart Artistic Innovation Award for her dedication to sustainability and her game-changing approach to using living flora and fauna as an artistic medium. In tandem with the award, she will receive a grant by Ruinart to aid in her ongoing artistic endeavors.
