Cult-favorite meal delivery and wellness brand Sakara Life is launching their most ambitious culinary collab yet: Artist In Residence, a series that will spotlight chefs and their unique styles, beginning with chef Mike Bagale. Formerly the executive chef of Chicago’s three-Michelin star restaurant Alinea, Bagale brings his ‘art of food’ approach to Sakara’s ‘food as medicine’ philosophy in this celebration of global flavors.
Since the brand’s origins, Sakara’s meals have had an adventurous spirit, traversing a myriad of global cuisines. The "Artist In Residence" series will amplify the brand’s signature meal program with decorated chefs’ personal artistry. When developing this initial collaboration, Chef Mike Bagale was a natural fit to partner with for Whitney and Danielle. After departing from Alinea in early 2018, Bagale embarked on a globe-trotting journey that molded his already-audacious style with international influences. His daring techniques will elevate Sakara’s menu to new heights over the course of five weeks with 15 exclusive recipes, from cacio e pepe to Moroccan gazpacho.
