In Celebration of New York Fashion Week, Saks CEO Marc Metrick and Academy Award-nominated actress Amanda Seyfried hosted an intimate dinner at L’Avenue at Saks.
Designed by renowned architect Philippe Starck, L’Avenue at Saks marks the first and only venture for L’Avenue outside of Paris. The restaurant spans two floors with a French art deco-inspired dining room and Le Chalet — a bar and lounge that offers cozy après-ski style interiors, accompanied by a chic outdoor terrace.
The space, located in the heart of Manhattan, offers unparalleled views of Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Seyfried attended the dinner with her husband, actor Thomas Sadoski, alongside top designers, celebrities, influencers, and VIP clients.

Attendees enjoyed cocktails and a three-course meal from L’Avenue at Saks’ signature menu, alongside a musical performance by Julius Rodriguez.
The event comes on the heels of the launch of Saks’ Spring 2022 Campaign featuring Lupita Nyong’o, Academy Award-winning actress, Executive Producer of Africa’s first superhero series for children Super Sema, and star of Marvel’s upcoming summer blockbuster Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The digital campaign celebrates the best in fashion and the top trends for spring, with Nyong'o styled in stunning pieces by Versace, LaQuan Smith, Brandon Maxwell, and more.
The campaign also spotlights an interview with Nyong’o featured online in Saks’ The Edit and IGTV and physical playing cards inspired by fashion trends.
The L’Avenue dining room brought the campaign imagery to life with eclectic elements including a custom acrylic tabletop, and a quintessential feature of all events at L’Avenue at Saks, the interactive 5 ft. champagne tower.
