Jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher returns to her roots with a new brick-and-mortar in the heart of Soho. “Having started my brand just a few steps away from this location, I wanted it to feel intrinsically connected to its roots yet symbolic to the world of Jennifer Fisher in its design,” founder and CEO Fisher says. The 1,650-square-foot space was designed in close collaboration with Michelle Gerson of Michelle Gerson Interiors to channel a fusion of the city’s industrial edge and the minimalist aesthetic of L.A.

Buzzy candle brand Otherland opened the doors to its first physical shop on Broadway after finding major success as an online retailer. Designed by renowned interior designer Sasha Bikoff in collaboration with Abigail Cook Stone, the vibrant space is reminiscent of the 1980s art deco revival period. “The most rewarding part about designing this boutique for Otherland was taking the brand’s ethos and converting it into an interior,” Bikoff says. “I thought hard about transporting into the ‘otherland’ and how, for me, it looked like a dreamy, colorful yet ethereal place, which is why we have many iridescent accents throughout the space.”

Jonathan Adler has built one of the most iconic interiors brands in the industry, and he returned to his roots in Soho opening a flagship called Atelier Adler between Spring and Broome streets. “It’s really an incredible new thing for us and great to be in New York City,” he shares. “I am thrilled to be part of what I hope is a huge rebirth of Soho.”
