Calling all chill girls who love beer and own every Aimé Leon Dore beanie known to man!
With the Super Bowl around the corner, it’s a perfect excuse to pull up your sleeves and dig in —even if you’re pretending to watch the game and have no idea what a touchdown is.
We’re not talking about ourselves, we swear.

And by dig in, we mean shove our faces into spicy chicken wings, ooey-gooey cheeseburger sliders, and flaming hot nachos.
In the spirit of football, we’ve rounded up the best places in NYC for game day eats.
Forget ladies who lunch, this is girls (and of course, guys) who grub.

If you look up game day eats in the dictionary, you’ll find Penny Farthing. And while everything on the menu is the farthest thing from healthy, the food is undeniably delicious. After all, calories don’t count on game day! To start, get an order of Buffalo Wings, Chicken Tenders, and Nachos to share. For your main, the Buffalo Mac N’ Cheese will quite literally knock your socks off. Breaded chicken, tangy Buffalo sauce, and every kid’s favorite comfort food, what could possibly be better?

While many people go to the Ainsworth to party, we go here to eat our faces off. If you’re not ordering the Chicken and Waffle sliders with tempura fried chicken, dill pickle chips, and tabasco honey, you seriously are missing out. But let’s not forget about the MVP of the entire night: the Trash Can Nachos. Made with layers of blue corn tortilla chips, black beans, jalapenos, pico de gallo, and cheese, these nachos are truly the key to our hearts (and stomachs!)

Did somebody say Pork Belly Bao Buns? Made with braised pork belly, cilantro, crispy shallots, mayo, and sriracha bbq, these buns are hands down the best thing on the menu. It would be disrespectful to only eat one dish on the grubbiest day of the year, so you also need the Cornflake Crusted Chicken Strips, Parmesan Truffle Fries, and the Korean Steak Sandwich. If you’re feeling risky, order the Pancake Burger, which yes, is a burger made out of flapjacks.

If you want to impress your latest Hinge prospect, tell them you’re watching the game at Clinton Hall. This city-wide establishment should have a sign on the door that says “cool girls only.” You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but we’re huge fans of the Jumbo Hot Pretzel, Meatball Parmesean Sliders, and the Elote Cauliflower Pizza. You probably won't regret ordering the Mozz Frites either, which is hand-breaded Mozzarella wrapped in Cheez-it crackers. Our eight-year-old selves are screaming.

The menu might be small, but we promise you, the burgers are nothing short of excellent. With only three options on the menu, Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger, and the Impossible Burger, 7th Street Burger does not mess around with their meat. All the burgers are served with grilled onions, American cheese, and special house sauce. And obviously, it wouldn’t be game day without greasy, finger-licking, french fries.

The food is so delicious at Bubby’s, even your impossible-to-please Bubbie will approve! Get ready for kickoff with the insanely decadent Appetizer Platter for $75 or Dinner platter for $95. Or, if you’re like us, you’ll probably find a way to justify indulging in both. Menu highlights include Tator Tots with jalapeno cheese dip, house-smoked Buffalo Chicken Wings, Pigs In A Blanket with spicy honey mustard, Bubby’s famous Mini Burgers, and Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert.

You will probably roll your eyes when we suggest vegan food on Super Bowl Sunday, but have we ever steered you wrong? The food at Beatnic, formerly By Chloe, is genuinely better than most of the fast-casual food we’ve tried in the city. Treat yourself to the mouthwatering Crispy Cauli Poppers, the melt-in-your-mouth Chicky Parm made out of Tempeh, and the Loaded Shroom Nachos with Vegan Queso that rival the real deal.

The Super Bowl is basically the Hunger Games, and there is no better place to celebrate your victory than at Blue Smoke. Menu highlights include Chipotle Chicken Wings, Memphis Baby Back Ribs, and the life-changing Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich. If you’re up for sharing, split the Buttermilk Chicken Bite Meal and their traditional, but oh-so-special, Barbeque side dishes. But remember, only the best man will win. Let's play ball!
