Premium vodka brand Stoli Vodka has partnered with modern European restaurant Sveta for a three-month Ukrainian-themed immersive pop-up in support of World Central Kitchen. Proceeds from the collaboration will provide meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises.
Sveta is owned and operated by Ukrainian immigrant Sveta Savchitz and her son Alan Aguichev, making it the perfect partner for Stoli Vodka’s commitment to raising $1 million for World Central Kitchen’s efforts in Ukraine. “My mother and I experienced hatred when Sveta was mislabeled as a Russian business,” shares Aguichev. Stoli faced similar backlash, further aligning the two businesses. “Since Sveta and Stoli both stand in support of Ukraine, we knew our shared goals of raising awareness and funds for Ukrainian refugees would be stronger if we worked together,” Aguichev continues.
The pop-up includes a new cocktail menu full of Stoli libations that pair perfectly with Sveta dishes. A portion of proceeds from each cocktail will be donated to World Central Kitchen. Stoli will also be supplying the Cocktails for Ukraine pop-up with limited-edition bottles designed after the Ukrainian national flag to benefit World Central Kitchen.
Multiple design elements of the pop-up bring the spirit of Ukraine to NYC, such as the immersive replica of the Tunnel of Love, a well-known romantic destination in Klaven, Northwestern Ukraine. Through the Tunnel of Love, guests will find walls of sunflowers, the national flower of Ukraine, and prints of Ukraine’s Independence Monument. The pop-up will be taking place through August 24th, Ukrainian Independence Day.
