Taylor Swift will be performing on May 26th, 27th and 28th. The parking lots will open at 12:30 p.m. and the gates will open at 4:30 p.m. The show is estimated to start at around 6:30 p.m., and Swift is expected to take the stage around 8:00 p.m.
Phoebe Bridgers will be opening for all dates, with Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn opening on the 26th, 27th and 28th, respectively.
Concert-goers can bring clear bags that measure 12 inches by 6 inches or smaller, or handbags that measure 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches or smaller. Food of any type should be stored in a clear plastic bag, and factory-sealed bottles of water or soft drinks that are 20 ounces or smaller can be brought. Reusable water bottles are permitted but must be empty upon entry. Portable phone chargers, jackets, and cameras are also allowed.
Alcohol, glass containers, battery-operated items such as clothing, animals other than service animals and non-clear bags larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches are not permitted. Read more about MetLife Stadium’s bag policy here.
MetLife Stadium will be permitting handheld signs of 11 inches by 17 inches or smaller. Battery-operated items such as clothing and lights will not be permitted inside the stadium.
Parking lots will open at 12:30 p.m., and day-of-event parking will cost $40 per car and $160 per Bus/RV. Also, expect to pay tolls on roadways such as the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway. Find directions for accessing the lots from different locations here. There will also be a dedicated rideshare zone in Lot E outside of the Verizon Gate. See here for more information.
We highly recommend considering public transportation, such as the NJ TRANSIT train or Coach USA bus service. NJ TRANSIT will operate the Meadowlands Rail Service for events with anticipated attendance above 50,000 and will deliver concert-goers directly to MetLife Stadium. Coach USA will run the 351 Meadowlands Express bus service from Port Authority to MetLife Stadium. More information on both services can be found here.
Tailgating will be allowed in the MetLife parking lots, though drones, kites and other flying objects are not allowed on the complex. Read more about MetLife Stadium’s tailgating policy here.
Swift has been playing a massive 44-song setlist throughout the tour so far, with two surprise songs during the acoustic section. Swift doesn’t repeat surprise songs (apart from the “Midnights” album) unless she feels as though she made a mistake while performing the first time. Likely surprise songs for the MetLife Stadium shows include “Welcome To New York” and “Cornelia Street” as an homage to New York City.
Swift’s extensive list of A-list friends is well-known, with celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence, Lena Dunham, Emma Roberts, Sabrina Carpenter, Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Joel, Emma Stone, Emma Watson and more having attended the tour so far. It’s likely that more celebs will be in attendance at the MetLife shows. After all, it's New York, anything can happen!
To everyone attending the shows, be safe, drink plenty of water and sing your hearts out! Welcome to New York, Taylor, we've been waiting for you!
