Beyond being just a movie theater, The Cinema by NeueHouse is a gateway to a realm where vintage charm seamlessly blends with modern luxury. Conceived by David Rockwell, the theater exudes the whimsical allure of 1960s Italian cinemas while embracing the latest advancements in digital screening technology.
“New Yorkers want and expect a combination of romance and history,” Rockwell said. “The cinema isn’t just for movies; it’s a space for art where members can connect with one another.”
Featuring 95 luxurious seats, a dedicated cocktail lounge, and a bar offering artisanal cocktails and gourmet bites, The Cinema by NeueHouse is a sanctuary for cinephiles and socialites alike. Whether it's hosting exclusive pre-release soirées or intimate screenings, this venue sets the stage for unforgettable events in the heart of the Big Apple.
Sarita Tabarez, the General Manager said “For me, the purpose of the cinema is to envelop each guest with a sense of comfort and luxury mixed with cutting-edge technology.”
NeueHouse partnered with Tribeca Film Festival and recently hosted an event by Amy Schumer for Keith Robinson’s new Netflix special, Different Strokes. Chris Rock and Eddie Murphy came to lend their support. It also hosted screenings of Back to Black by Sam Taylor-Johnson and Hard Miles by Mathew Modine.
Yet, beyond its cinematic allure, NeueHouse remains a sanctuary for those dedicated to professional advancement and creative exploration. With access to curated events, cutting-edge facilities, and a vibrant community of kindred spirits, NeueHouse continues to make its mark on the landscape of collaboration and connection in the digital era. From its iconic outposts in New York, Hollywood, and Venice Beach, NeueHouse extends an invitation to join the revolution of work, play, and inspiration.
