The New York culinary scene is buzzing like never before, and with that comes restaurants harder to get into than Boom Boom Room the night of the Met Gala.

If you’re a frequent player in the hunger games we like to call Resy, you know how difficult it is to snag a good reservation.

Carbone for two on Friday night at 7:30? Don’t even think about it.

Just when you thought you were ordering Chinese takeout all weekend, a magical force by the name of ResX enters the chat.

Now, with the simple click of a button (and a lot of feed refreshing), you can secure a nearly impossible-to-get reservation day of!

“It’s not too difficult to get a 5 p.m. or 10 p.m. reservation here, but a 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. is nearly impossible. I don’t believe we’ve ever seen these prime times released on Resy before. For every 50 reservations, we receive less than 10 that are prime-time reservations.”

“It’s very tough to find on Resy, but if you put on your notification alerts, you’ll eventually get a table There’s no cancellation fee, so people cancel at these Brooklyn hotspots left and right. These restaurants continue to be some of our most sent-in restaurants!”

Pro Tip: Reservations are available on Resy thirty days in advance, but make sure to look out for new reservations released every day at 10 a.m.
