We get it, it can be difficult to make sustainable choices without sacrificing the quality of your skin and hair care. Enter: United & Free, the newly launched sustainable and inclusive hair and skin care brand.
Canadian brother-sister team Brandon and Kaleena founded United & Free with the goal of creating a brand that is good for your skin, your hair and the planet. United & Free's multi-purpose products work double-time to both simplify your routine and reduce the number of products used in the bathroom.
There's no one way to participate in sustainability, so United & Free continually invites innovation in their efforts to contribute to the collective movement towards a future that supports the renewal of Earth's resources. All the products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free and gently formulated for extra sensitive skin. All products meet the fundamental responsibilities of Human Rights, and the brand offsets its shipping emissions. The packaging is 100% sustainable, as all the materials can be reused, composted, recycled or properly disposed of in our waste systems for a lower impact on the environment. They even upcycle the waste from sugar production. Learn more about United & Free's commitment to sustainability here.
The products include the softening balm, a multi-purpose cream for both hair and body that is packed full of nourishing oils such as olive oil complex, jojoba oil and squalane. The balm treats dry and cracking skin and redness, can soften stretch marks and scars and is great for body hair and beards. The result? Skin that is elastic and feels less tight and irritated, and hair that is hydrated, soft and split-end-free.
The soothing oil is enriched with natural and organic oils such as papaya, squalane and tamanu that combat dryness of the hair and skin. Expect increased moisture and smoothness, in addition to soothing after shaving, waxing, razor burn and ingrown hairs. We love a good hair oil, and this one both prevents split ends and contains frizz and flyaways. Both products cater to all skin and hair types, making the brand an inclusive force in the skin and hair care world.
